I bought the original version of this pant a few years ago. Liked it so much, just purchased the current version from Retailer Moosejaw. The current pant has been slightly tweeked, but for the better. The current pant's fabric on the outside is smoother and softer and stretchier. The inside insulation is also stretchier. They have added a zipper vent on the inside of the thigh. I think the fit is also better, trim but not not as snug as it was before. They kept the kidney warmer which is a great feature, and the insulation is the same generous amount of 80 grams. It is still as warm as it was, and the warmest pant on the market. If you get cold, or you ski in temperatures 15 degrees and under, this is the pant for you. You will not be cold.
